MANIFESTO CAMPAIGN
WeAreOpen presented this year's national campaign at the OPEN Conference. In the campaign film, 33 company leaders collectively voted to build a non-judgmental, open, and inclusive corporate culture. "An inclusive approach is not only good for our hearts, it's also good for our wallets. It's the perfect tool to impress your boss and your colleagues at the same time," said György Nagy, Head of Sigma Technology Hungary.

The campaign has a dual purpose. WeAreOpen wants to raise awareness that openness is a value. Diversity and inclusion are proven by countless studies and examples of companies both abroad and in Hungary to increase companies' profitability and innovation capacity, promote employer branding, and increase employee engagement and personal comfort.

On the other hand, WeAreOpen also aims to increase the number of companies that take meaningful, strategic steps towards a diverse corporate culture in relation to the social pillar of the ESG framework. WeAreOpen is a social enterprise that is unique in Hungary in its ability to cover the spectrum of services related to building an open corporate culture, from auditing companies, through employee surveys and strategy development, to the implementation of concrete actions.
"Acceptance and diversity are not only a social value but also a business value and interest. DEI is about the people your companies employ, who produce and create, and the communities you serve with your products. Diversity is really about all of us." - said Helga Sásdi, Chair of the Board of Directors of WeAreOpen.
Nóra Várady, CEO of WeAreOpen, said: "The ESG approach increasingly demands that diversity and inclusion is not just a CSR and employer branding tool, but a real commitment that needs to be demonstrated in annual reports."
